Here is my suggestion for a future hike (pink line). Check out the map and let me know what you think. There is no need to do the entire thing in one go but it could be a good challenge. Approximately 800 ft elevation gain over the whole thing. Suppose to take a couple hours at leisurely pace.

Hike # 2 - Pine and Cedar Lake Trail (Washington State)
This trail ascends 1000 feet in the first mile. The round trip is 5 miles but I only made it 3.36 miles. Next time better. I will make it my goal because I have heard that the view from the top is worth the effort. A grueling hike on a splendid day with the perfect partner. Thank you, Tara! xoxo Mom
